Neev II Fund, the successor fund of Neev I, was launched in May 2021 and seeks to provide growth and capital expansion to Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs)/Start-ups offering solutions in the climate and environment sectors.

Investment Objectives and Sectors:

Neev II aims to bridge the private equity gap required for the transition towards climate resilience and low emissions in the SME space. Neev II aims to build the sustainable growth and impact ecosystem for SMEs/Start-ups in India.

BanyanTree Growth Capital III is a private equity fund managed by BanyanTree Finance. The Fund has a sector-agnostic strategy and primarily invests in sectors like food-processing, healthcare,  manufacturing, amongst others. The Fund provides long term growth capital (equity and quasi-equity) to companies which have restricted access to capitaldue to their location.

Investment Objectives and Sectors:

BanyanTree Growth Capital III aims to invest in companies which provide inclusive innovative solutions focused on technology and/or process. The aim is to make a positive social and/ or economic impact on people, especially in the lower income segment, in the form of better provision of products or services, job creation and increased access to markets.

The Avaana Sustainability Fund (ASF) is a women led venture capital fund that invests in early-stage climate technology companies in India.

Investment Objectives and Sectors:

The fund backs innovative technologies and businesses models to support climate mitigation, adaptation and resilience building across key sectors such as energy and resource management, mobility and supply chains, sustainable agriculture and food systems. ASF’s strategies include investing in technology innovation to enable low-carbon and climate-resilient development pathways, supporting portfolio companies in their operational scale-up, supporting growth of the larger ecosystem, and unlocking measurable social, economic, and environmental impact.
